Secrets of the Heart® TV Series 1 Episode 08

Miss Anindo teaches children about family and a Native American dance of the Ojibwe tribe. Curriculum for arts education and social emotional learning for ages 4-8.

In Secrets of the Heart® TV Series 1 for Kindergarten Episode 08: Miss Anindo visits  Minnesota and North Dakota where children learn about the jingle dance of the Ojibwe and about the buffalo drum. She teaches children to recognize that there are many kinds of families and how to sign the secret word “family” in American Sign Language (ASL).  This is a great curriculum for arts, social and emotional learning for Pre-K – 2nd grade, ages 4-8, that explores feelings, the importance of family, and Native American culture.
